All Rights Reserved. 13 ESA: Italian Earthquake In support to scientists and Italian Authorities, L’Aquila ESA SAR (radar) data have been put on the “Virtual Archive” using the Level 3 CDN infrastructure allowing:  Very high availability of service which is critical during crisis situations  Very fast data access for users around the world ESA SAR data of Geo-hazard sites having a high risk of Volcano eruptions or Earthquakes over highly populated regions are also being put on the “Virtual Archive” (Level 3 CDN), allowing fast and easy data access. Level 3 activated a new account for this specific application on our CDN platform within 12 hours
