11. These references may inform a piece of work such as an essay so they may be needed for the essay’s bibliography. The Refworks software will create the bibliography for us in a chosen bibliographical style. But first we must export the records to Refworks. To do this click on Download citations

12. From this screen click on Export directly to Refworks

13. Our records have now been exported form Literature Online or put another way they have been imported by Refworks NOTE Literature Online is a Proquest database. We will now look at our records. To do this click on View Last Imported Folder

14. These are the 5 references. We will create a folder to put them in so that we can add more references later. At the top of the list there is a menu bar. Click on the down arrow beside folders and click on Create new folder

15. We will name the folder Gaeltacht Click on OK

16. We have created our folder but not yet selected references to put in it. We will select references now. Now click on the down arrow beside Put in Folder and select Gaeltacht

17. This box will appear. Click on OK

18. The references are now in the Gaeltacht folder. We will create a bibliography in our chosen bibliographic style. To do this click on Bibliography in the menu bar.

19. Harvard Click on the down arrow and select citation style. We will select Harvard Note our 5 references are listed alongside All references here as well as being in a folder. However we will create our bibliography from the folder. Select references from folder and choose Gaeltacht 5 Gaeltacht Finally click on Create Bibliography

20. Here is the bibliography. Refworks will store this for you. You can add to it or delete references from it. You can change the citation style and you can have multiple folders.
