2 COMPARISON OF ADJECTIVES

3 The comparative degree (сравнительная степень) образуется с помощью суффикса –er или специального слова more Односложные прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень с помощью суффикса -er (old- older, nice-nicer, slow-slower, cheap -cheaper) Прилагательные, состоящие из двух, трех и более слогов, образуют сравнительную степень с помощью слова more (careful- more careful, expensive- more expensive, interesting- more interesting)

11 Do this test: Напиши прилагательные в сравнительной и превосходной степени: dry, fat, popular, long, neat, comfortable, good, sad, bad, fine Раскрой скобки, употребив прилагательные в сравнительной или превосходной степени: Russia is (big) than America. I can run (fast) than you. The dress is (cheap) than the coat. He is the (tall) in our class. She is the (good) student in our class. Have you got these jeans in a (large) size? A rose is the (beautiful) flower. BMW is (expensive) than Toyota.
