Getting Started Materials needed: A digital video camera – It must have the ability to export videos to a computer either through a USB connection, a cable, or a video card. A computer with a lot of hard disk space and a high speed Internet connection. Video editing software An RSS feed to generate the video on the Internet.

Holds 60 minutes of video Has its on video editing software Files can be saved and loaded to the Photos and Documents section of Teacher Web. There is a microphone in the camera.

Making the video Basic Tripods can be used but are not necessary. Check the lighting of the room. Garage lights from Walmart are helpful and inexpensive if needed. Participants should speak up. Some kids have the tendency to speak softly. Better planning means less editing. Download the video to your computer by connecting the USB arm of the camera to the connection on the computer. Save it as a wmv.

Editing Although the flip camera comes with video editing software, windows movie maker software is excellent. Share the video with your class. Save the video to the index of documents on the Teacher Web Site. Go to the Photos and Docs section and browse to locate the video. Select and insert the video into the blank. Enjoy.
