2 Ottawa 26 February 2008 2 A Little About DRIE Ottawa  Began many years ago (can’t get an exact date but definitely by 1992) with a few people  Like Toronto, many of our founding Executive and current members have been or are currently involved with DRI  Similar to DRIE Toronto except ■3 quarterly meetings held in the morning ■1 full day – end of May ■Executive are not voted in by membership ■Passive web presence & membership management system since 2002 with on-line event registration & membership payments since last year
