How do you review for a test? How do you approach completing a review packet for a test/benchmark? Benchmark 2 Ch 21,22,23 Feb 7 th and 8th

Please locate the following in the next 5 min Folder/binder holding all of your worksheets for these chapters 21,22,23 ( Progressive era, American Imperialism- Three column journal, World War 1) Interactive journal Textbook

Review packet tips Do not rely on just the textbook. Review means, you have learned this, you need to locate a worksheet or interactive journal entry to support your answer. Go to the textbook as a last resort. Take the time to actually READ the question… except for Chapter 22 every question is easy, peasy !

World War 1 review – move to your 3 o clock partner You will have 30 minutes with this partner. Use your time wisely! You have LOTS of resources and handouts for this part. Also notice textbook pages are given to assist, if you need to use the text. FOR the section under WHY, How, How and what --- define each MAIN cause to help answer the question.

Review of answers for World War 1 As we review the answers, make sure you are correcting your own paper. Some will appear under the document camera, some will just be verbal. You need to pay attention – thank you

STUDY, STUDY, STUDY Benchmark Feb 7 th and 8 th Will be 35 multiple choice questions and matching of vocabulary. 4-5 documents with 2-3 questions each. NO ESSAY! Use all papers you located today, take home your interactive notebooks, and the review packet to study 20 minutes each day before I see you for the benchmark. BRING A PEN for the test. Feel free to stay after Jan 31 st, Feb 4 th or 7 th for one on one help if you like. Room 320 until 2:45 pm
