10 1 10 U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad Designed to stimulate and promote achievement in high school chemistry Students who take the exam must be nominated by their teacher Exam given locally, nationally and internationally Summer study camp

11 1 11 Project SEED Designed to encourage high school students to pursue career opportunities In the chemical sciences Financial eligibility requirements Summer program with $1750- y2000 Report of research at the end of the program

12 1 12 ACS Scholars Program Up to $3000 per year African-American, Hispanic/Latino or Native- American Demonstrate financial need (FAFSA or SAR) U.S citizen or permanent resident

13 1 13 ACS Scholars Program 3.0 grade point average (B or better) Full-time student at accredited college, University or community College Graduating high school senior, freshman, sophomore or junior intending to study chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or chemically related field

14 1 14 Chemistry Teachers Eligible to join ACS nationally and/or locally Local section has a high school chemistry committee Great networking opportunity and access to the Chicago area chemistry community
