Review of HW pg 439  List and Describe the role of the three kinds of neurons.  What two parts of the brain are responsible for controlling your balance and coordination?  The synapse plays an important role in the transmission of an impulse. What might happen if an impulse is unable to travel across a synapse for some reason?  List three feelings you might experience and describe what part of the autonomic nervous system will be most involved with each feeling.

12. Discussion Questions…  Based on the information about the nervous system how do you think a drug like aspirin might affect nerve impulses?  How do you think it might affect the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems?
