Nursing College 2006 – 11 private owned
Nursing Colleges approved to 36 Colleges. In 2010 – total – 109 * (28 – MOH, 70 IPTS, 10 IPTA,1-Min. of Defence) * 7 –IPTA providing degree courses * 13 – IPTS providing degree courses take for degree is staggered, due to limited space. 2006 – private owned Nursing Colleges increased to Colleges. - consists of nurses from gred U29 – U36, who are diploma holders and with minimum 3 years experience. - duration 2 years - appointed as gred U42, Professional group Division II Midwives Training was terminated. New Curriculum for Community Nurse Training 1992 – Diploma Curriculum for Nurse Training Started. Revised Nursing and Community Nursing Curriculums Review of Basic Nurse Training Curriculum in line with Credit Point System.
