IGGIGG Industry Governance Group Secretariat: RMDS Secretariat: RMDS www.rmdservice.com 10 Purpose of MPCC Testing The Market Participant Communications Component (MPCC) is a key part of messaging architecture. 15
IGGIGG Industry Governance Group Secretariat: RMDS Secretariat: RMDS www.rmdservice.com 15 Conclusions Main Conclusions: The MPCC is capable of handling large volumes of inbound and outbound market messages. The larger the market message size the longer the MPCC took to process the message. The MPCC could simultaneously process 1,500 Inbound and 1,500 Outbound smaller (approx 1kb) market messages within 13 minutes. Before initiating a batch run certain house keeping steps should be carried out to optimise the MPCC The message size will determine the optimal batch size. The MPCC is more then resilient to the volumetric stresses applied during these tests.
