Information on the Vehicle Registration Certificate PART I

1. June 2010 - the Act No. 144/2010 Coll. amending and modifying the Act No. 8/2009 Coll. on Road Traffic and on Modification and Amendment of C ertain Acts will become effective in the Slovak Republic Determines the issuing of Vehicle Registration document s in two parts

In form of a polycarbonate card with a chip Issued by the Police

In paper form Issued by the Public Traffic Authority Producer or its representatives Police

Newly registered vehicles - registration certificate /alternative to the current paper document/ for the particular district traffic inspectorate Order for production of a certificate in form of a polycarbonate card part I In case of already registered vehicles – updating of documents possible Personalization identical with other documents in the NPC

The document will not be handed out on the spot immediately - we intend to deliver them by post to the address indicated by the applicant Delivery time max. 30 days – charge 6,- € Accelerated delivery - 2 working days - charge 24,- € Within this time period - using of the car possible Visiting the vehicle registration authority only once Price of the document – included

The previously issued vehicle documents remain valid The Technical Certificate and the Registration Certificate issued from 1.4.1997 until 31.8.2000;

The technical vehicle documents and registration certificates issued from od 1.9.2000 to 28.2.2005;

Registration Certificate issued since 1.3.2005,
