General Information Students must complete all course components and skill sheet objectives to receive certification. Students must maintain compliance with PPE standards during evolutions. Students should be prepared to train in all weather conditions

SAFETY Students must comply with all safety directives established by the instructional team. Safety is the shared responsibility of the individual, team, and instructors. General Information This course is designed to meet or exceed all requirements of NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 for operations (Level I) level confined space rescue. The purpose of this course is to create competent rescuers with: Strong confined space rescue fundamentals Ability to function as part of a rescue team Understanding of tactical priorities and organization Proficiency in technical skills and applications

General Information Prerequisite Standard NFPA 1006 Ch. 4.3.1: Level I (Operations) This level shall apply to individuals who identify hazards, use equipment, and apply limited techniques specified in this standard to perform technical rescue operations. NFPA 1006 Ch. 5 : Job Performance Requirements Site Operations, Victim Management, Maintenance, Ropes/Rigging Requisite Standard NFPA 1006 Ch. 7.1: Level I (Operations) Specific Requirements for Confined Space Operations
