2 Project Parameters Print Advertisement: - 8.5” X 11” Magazine ad - Must include a QR code Motion Graphics Video: - 20-30 seconds in length -960 X 640 resoution -Rendered as Quicktime.mov, H264 codec QR Code: - Must link to motion graphics video.

3 Company: Absolut Vodka Absolut Vodka has an amazing website. They have created a great user interface whereby the user can download an application called, Drinkspiration, an interactive cocktail guide. With more than 3,000 drink recipes,Drinkspiration Home Edition can turn your iPad into an exciting interactive cocktail making experience. Learning to mix drinks has never been more fun!

4 Purpose of Ad The purpose of the ad is to get people to come to the website, to view the video, and to ultimately download the application, Drinkspiration. Using the application will be a fun way to learn how to mix drinks using Absolut Vodka. It will also bring the user into the stores to purchase Absolut Vodka!

5 Target Audience The ad will target new drinkers, 21-30 years of age,middle income. They might not know how to mix drinks themselves, yet find themselves always either having parties, or being invited to them. They are always up on the latest gadgets and trends; and they would jump at the chance to be able to “show off” their new expertise in drink mixing at the next party. And, if they haven’t mastered the mixing yet, they would be sure to be the first ones to share the source of their newfound fun, Drinkspiration.

6 the Print Ad Itself The print ad itself will showcase a recipe that speaks to the target audience and literally jumps off the page. It will not be chosen randomly. It will be chosen with thought towards how it appeals to all of the senses, creating a huge rush of beautiful colors, sensational (imagined) sounds of liquid pouring into a glass, a sensual aroma, culminating in the salivation of the target audience…so that they rush to scan the QR code, contained within the ad.

7 the QR code The QR code will be included within the ad in a clever way. The purpose of the QR code is to get the target audience to go to the website and view the motion graphics video. The video will ultimately give a link to the users to download the Drinkspiration application and start using it for all their drink mixing needs.

8 the Motion Graphics Video The motion graphics video will be educational, yet entertaining in nature. It will feature an animated drink mixing lesson. A colorful, appetizing, mouth-watering drink recipe will be concocted right before the viewer’s eyes. The user will be taken step by step through the ingredients needed, as well as the steps to create a delicious libation featuring Absolut Vodka. The video will end with a link that says “For more recipes like this one, please click here to download the Drinkspirations application.”
