PURPOSE Get comfortable with JMS at your pace Meet teachers and staff – be respectful of the numbers in the building tonight Understand where things are at in the building (Lockers, classes, electives….) Get locker assignments (5 th Period for 9 th Graders / 6 th Period for 8 th Graders) Drop off materials If you need a schedule printed, you can get those in either office at the front of the building. If you did not bring materials tonight, bring them on Tuesday. Studetnts who do not get lockers tonight will get them on Monday.

6. STUDENT DROP OFF West Side of the building Do NOT use the bus lane, or the parking lot in front Building Hours 7:30-3:30 Classes 7:45-2:50, Wednesdays 7:45-1:50 All doors will be open @ 7:30 Students can gather in Library, Lobby, or Cafe

BUILDING SAFETY We ask that all students and visitors use the front entrance of the building (Entrance #1) Parents, please do not forget to bring your ID to receive a visitor’s badge if you desire to enter the building Students accessing programming at JHS will need to use the entrance at door #1 at JHS, if they are travelling during the school day.

8. LUNCH ROOM Make sure that your child knows their number Paypams.com Checks in the box in the lobby Get $ into the box by 10 AM for it to be entered Cash in line If your child forgets their lunch, For your child only Only distributed at the start of each lunch

9. IPADS Rollout to 8 th and 9 th Graders Anticipated rollout is in late October. More information to come in the next month on a specific timeline A few students will receive their iPads earlier due to special accomodations with HS course needs
