The main tourist season is from mid- June to mid- September. The summer seasons, packs in a large number of festivals and other events, including plays and concerts.

Norway's national day is celebrated across the country on the 17 th May. A little over 50 years ago Norway was one of the poorest countries in Europe. This changed following the discovery of oil in the late 1960s.

This Viking ship, Kon- Tiki is in Oslo. This is an actual ship that sailed on the sea. It was named after the Inca sun god, Viracocha, for whom "Kon-Tiki" was said to be an old name.

Norway has fjords. The fjords 0f Norway were dug out by ice, stones and rocks during the successful ice ages. They are great tourist attractions.

Did you know Norwegians are the mot educated people on the planet? Did you know that Norway has a King and Queen? Oslo is the capital city of Norway. Norway is the most northern country in Europe. The country of Norway has fjords and glaciers.

I would like to thank my teacher for letting my class and I come to Rockford Manor. Also I would like to thank Fiona for helping me with my presentation and showing me what to do. I want to thank Ms.Mooney for letting the 4 th years help our class.
