2. Charles Michael "Chuck" Palahniuk Biography: His birthday is on February 21st, 1962. Born in Pasco, Washington, USA. Modern American writer and a journalist. He began writing books when he was 30. Became really famous after his book «Fight Club». Palahniuk's Grandfather was from Ukraine. His original surname is Palahgniuk. His creations in the style of of such writers such as Easton Ellis, Irvine Welch and Douglas Kauplend made him one of the most popular novelists of "Generation X".

3. PAUL-AH-NIK (Paula Nick). The story goes that Chuck's Grandparents decided to pronounce their name as a combination on their two first names, Paula and Nick. He has a brother and four sisters. Now Palahniuk lives in Portland, USA.

4. Fight Club  Fight Club was written in 1996.  The book made its way to Hollywood, where interest to make a film increased.  In 1999 David Fincher made the film.

5. The Film: Initially the film was a kind of disappointment and caused different reactions of critics, but later became a cult film.
