My Animal Report On Narwhals by : Katie Are you ready to dive? We’re going over 5,000 feet under water! Oh… my bad I forgot to introduce myself I’m mister Narwhal but call me… Peppy! Now come on we’ve got to get swimming.

Adaptations Physical Here are my adaptations… I have a long tooth and a big brain I have a blowhole, 4 inches of blubber I have no ears I feel vibrations! Behavioral I display human like behavior and we stay in pods big as 10 – 100!

Was that fun? well now we’re doing life span and life cycle I live up to 50 years! That’s pretty old but I’m not that old… YET!! I’m fully grown at 5-8 years I was born live too! The litter size is one calf we mate march to may and give birth every 3 years ready for our next subject…

Now we’re going to learn what I eat! I eat animals like squid, flat fish, green land halibut (fish) although silly scientists don’t exactly know! We still need to dive deeper

Where I live I live in the arctic ocean just off Canada. We navigate in polynyas which are huge open pools of water.
