Point of View Definition Refers to the perspective from which events in a story or novel are told

First V. Third Person First-person point of view: Narrator is a character that tells everything in his or her own words

First V. Third Person Third-person point of view: A story is told by a narrative voice outside of the action, not by one of the characters.

Limited V. Omniscient Third-person limited- the narrator tells only what one character thinks, feels, and observes.
