Making education a reality for every child Approach To Child Labor all children out of school child labor and educationChild Labor is defined as being all children out of school and so, a link between child labor and education is established full time formal day schoolsThat all children must be in full time formal day schools is a non-negotiable No parallel institutionsNo parallel institutions are set up, in fact existing institutions are strengthened

Making education a reality for every child Parental Demand parents are keenPoor parents are keen on sending their children to school, and are also willing to contribute. Parents do not require income-generating incentives or subsidies to sustain their children in schools. The best incentive is to make schools sensitive to the needs of illiterate parents and their children

Making education a reality for every child Youth Participation Youth activists are the anchors Youth activists are the anchors of the entire program –facing the wrath and anger of employers –involving the Gram Panchayat & Community –bringing pressure on schools and –giving parents the confidence to send their children to school 30000youth volunteers –Over 30000 youth volunteers contribute to the program today
