Grantwriting Hints State specifically what is being purchased. The portable personal computing device suitable for use among school-aged children must be under $400.00 in initial cost or with a financed lease under $250.00 per year. Do NOT use weasel words or cutesy words.
21
Grantwriting Hints How is this going to change the classroom? Careful with use of in-kind funds. Can be used for wiring, tech support, NOT machines. Spend out on hardware. Remaining funds can be carried over for other details of the grant.
22
Grantwriting Hints Sustainability: Concentrate on keeping the change to classroom instruction going, not on replacing hardware, etc. How will these changes from this project LAST?
