Objectives ○ Continue to build a network of ACES facilitators and leaders throughout the state ○ Clarify MN ABE content standards and the relationship among TIF, CCRS, and Northstar ○ Receive information on major ACES PD activities this past year and how to access online ○ Receive information on major ACES PD activities this coming year ○ Provide input on what else is needed to help implement a "transitions lens" across all levels of ABE statewide

Major ACES PD Activities LAST year PLC I hybrid format developed and delivered (CT, SM, EC) PLC II developed, both hybrid and f2f (DFP, NS, LS) Category-specific workshops & webinars (6 TIF-Lens Webinars), delivered and archived Classroom videos for each category posted at ATLAS and also on MN ABE PD YouTube channel NOTE: PLCs and TIF-lens webinars are not the same. There is differing content and activities. Practitioners should experience both when possible!

Major ACES PD Activities THIS year ●Build on the materials in the ACES resource library on the ATLAS website ●Include articles about ACES resources in the ABE newsletter on a regular basis (beginning with the 10/2 newsletter) ●Create an online catalog of ACES related PD with information about available ACES trainers ●Develop a teacher observation tool that focuses on Transitions-minded instruction (currently in draft format) ●Develop an ACES webinar for managers (Fall 2015) ●Host quarterly webinars for ACES trainers and facilitators ●ACES 101 Moodle course for new teachers

ACES Work Stations! 1.Sign up to be on a list of PLC facilitators in our google doc! (on laptop). 2.What would you like to see/receive/share at quarterly webinars for ACES leaders? 3.Generate classroom ideas/resources/ routines for each category (6), on easel sheets around the room. 4.Brainstorm major challenges and opportunities in implementing a transitions-lens across all levels of ABE statewide. [Note special sheet for manager- specific challenges/opportunities!]
