Most children,on the first three days of September were evacuated, almost 1,500,000 children to the country side. Some children were lucky to end up with wealthy people,some on the other hand had to go to poor families. The children that went with the poor had to work hard. If the children were under four they could go with there mums. For two seasons the children were evacuated. Contents

While the Blitz was on, over 80,000 people died. The name BILTZ is given by the heavy bombing by the German leader(Adolph Hitler). Then on the 6 th of September 1940 the German bombers launched their first large scale. During the Blitz Winston Churchill was the pope. Contents

Rationing started in 1940 and sweet ration ended in1953 but rationing didn’t end till 1954. Food shortages and rationing did not mean that people starved. Before the war Britain brought about two thirds of its food from over country’s,but the war disrupted shipping;food supplies. Contents
