2 Situation: My Augusta Walmart is the #1 store I need to win in for sell thru. Halloween was early executed by there is a lack of communication between top KDMs and lower management to ensure proper pallet placement. Task: I knew I had to have a game plan and an effective conversation with the most appropriate KDM to be successful. Action: I spoke with the Assistant manager, relating to his desire to have the #1 sell thru in the market. I went over what their final sell thru was last year and discussed how we could improve upon it. I tied it in with their overall store performance with Hershey. Letting him know how important seasons are to his business and that this was the HUGE season to win in to help improve their sales this second half of the year. I also provided him with the image and sales results of the display I built in Waterville (#2013). Result: I planned with the assistant to come in on 9/22 and build a display. Utilizing jumbo and snack size pallets, we created a fun and impactful display at the front end area in a 10x10 location in women’s apparel.
