It was discovered in 1789 by martin klaporth, he was German chemist. Nuclear power plants uses fission. Nuclear comes form nonrenewable substances. Every 18 to 24 months the power plant shuts down to make radioactive waste. 1 in 5 households and business in the u.s uses nuclear power energy. American uses almost 2,000 tons of radioactive waste each year. More than 70% of Americas emission-free power comes form nuclear energy sources. Nuclear power is being used in over 30 countries around the world.
