In Academy of Pedagogy (Bahir Dar Teachers College)
In 2000, the government merged the two institutions and established BDU
Currently, BDU is composed of

EPLAUA took the initiative to establish a link to KTH and BDU

How has it been started?
In September 2004 students from Ethiopia joined the M.Sc in Land Management programme at KTH
In September 2007 students from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda join this programme
KTH in consultation with these countries initiated the network in 2008
