Warm Up Take out a piece of paper and title it Literary Conflict. Carefully read the quote below from “Leiningen Versus the Ants” and respond in at least 4 complete sentences: “The human brain needs only to become fully aware of its powers to conquer even the elements” Describe what you think this quote means and how it might come into play in “Leiningen Versus the Ants.” Do you agree or disagree with this statement and why? (7 minutes to respond—I will be around to stamp).
