GRI – Global reporting platform 1997 r. – Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) established by Coalition for Environmentally Responsable Economy (CERES) and UNEP GRI provides methodology for reporting GRI has a register of reports Reporting is voluntary Reports are addressed to all interested parties (stakeholders)

Reporting in brief – continued What indicators? - concerning profile and structure of the enterprise, - concerning economy of the enterprise, - concerning environmental issues of the enterprise, - concerning social issues of the enterprise (employment, human rights, lobbing, product resposibility).

Statistics of reporting GRI reports include 79 Performance Indicators (PI) – economical, social and environmental. There are 12 000 reports registered in GRI (2012). Food sector registered ca. 700 reports, including 300 from European enterprises. Large enterpises registered ca. 90 % of total number of reports. From Poland: - Coca-Cola HBC Polska, - Danone Poland, - Kompania Piwowarska (SABMiller).
