3 1 Chinese food

4 DUMPLINGS  With a long history of more than 1,800 years.  Dumplings generally consist of minced meat and finely - chopped vegetables wrapped into a thin and elastic piece of dough skin.  Popular fillings are mince pork, diced shrimp, fish, ground chicken, beef, and vegetables.  They can be cooked by boiling, steaming, frying or baking.

5 SPRING ROLLS  Spring rolls are a Cantonese dessert dish of cylindrical shape.  The filling of spring rolls could be vegetables or meat, and the taste could be either sweet or savory.  After fillings are wrapped in spring roll wrappers, the next step is frying.  Then the spring rolls are given their golden yellow color.

6 WONTONS TThe most versatile shape of a wonton is simple a right triangle, similar to Italian tortellini. WWontons are commonly boiled and served in soup or sometimes deep - fried. TThe filling of wontons can be minced pork or diced shrimp.

9 SATAY MMeats on sticks over a BBQ – basic yet effective. TThe ingredient which gives the dish its characteristic yellow colour derived from tumeric. SServe it up with a spicy peanut sauce dip, or peanut gravy, slivers of onions and cucumbers, and ketupat

10 LONTONG  Is a dish made of compressed rice cake in the form of a cylinder wrapped inside a banana leaf.  The rice rolled inside banana leaf and boiled, then cut into small cakes as staple food replacement of steamed rice.  It is commonly called nasi himpit (" pressed rice ") in Malaysia.

12 BUTTER CHICKEN  Chicken marinated overnight in yoghurt and spices mixture and cooked with a special Makhani sauce made of Butter, tomato puree and various spices that gives the dish its unique flavor.  It is one of the most popular dishes among non vegetarians throughout the World

13 ROTI CANAI  A type of Indian influenced flatbread found in Malaysia and Indonesia.  Often sold in Mamak stalls in Malaysia  Knowns as roti prata, and is similar to the Indian Kerala porotto

14 THOSAI  Serving with soft crisoy got with sambar, chutney and vada  Main ingredient are rice and black lentils batter

15 4.WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE EATING OUT ? It is more convenient. There are many eating outlets to choose from. Eating out such as restaurant is more clean and comfortable environment with better services and facilities.

16 5.ON WHAT OCCASION WE GO OUT FOR EAT ? We go out for eat for certain occasion suah as romantic dinner, birthday dinner, other celebrations ( such as Valentine ‘ s Day, Mother ’ s Days, Christmas Day )

17 6.OUR OPINION We prefer to eat at home because it can promote feelings with family. Besides, eat at home is more healthy and the price cheaper than eating out.
