WHO GRADUATES…

S ENIOR ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS … Seniors may have NO MORE THAN 7 absences or 50 period absences in the 2015-2016 school year. Students who are absent more than allowed by the policy will not be eligible for senior activities (Senior Prom, Winter Formal, Homecoming Dance/Court, Senior Picnic, Graduation Ceremony and other senior activities throughout the year). Seniors with extenuating circumstances such as extended illness or hospitalization, funerals requiring extensive travel may have the opportunity to appeal. Regular medical or doctor appointments, court dates, travel for leisure, local funerals, or personal inconveniences WILL NOT be considered for appeals.

Senior Year Expenses (LAST YEAR) All prices are estimations; almost $800 throughout the year if ALL events attended. Amount may be higher if you buy Package 1 ($175.00)

ELIGIBILITY… In order to participate in any Senior activity ALL students must meet Lincoln’s eligibility requirements before buying tickets and before each event takes place (this includes guests as well): At least a 2.0 GPA based on most recent OFFICIAL Progress Report or Report Card Meet Attendance Requirements Be cleared of any Detention hours Demonstrate exemplary behavior

PICNIC @ MAGIC MOUNTAIN (last year) ( MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE ) Included: -Ticket to Magic Mountain AND a return ticket to Hurricane Harbor All-You-Can-Eat Dinner Buffet Admission from 9 am to 7 pm Kodak photo voucher

PROM ( MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE ) PROM will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 (tentative), it will start at 6:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm PROM will be at ________________________

PROM In order to attend, students and their guests must be eligible Guests must be 20 years old or younger Students must be inside the venue no later than 7:30 pm Students may not leave the venue before 11:00 pm unless they are picked up by a parent (ID required) There are no in and out privileges

GRAD NITE @ DISNEYLAND (last year) ( MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE ) $90.00 tentative per senior Included: -Park-Hopper ticket from 10 am to 3 am that is good to both parks: Disneyland AND California Adventure -Once Disneyland closes, there will be a dance party in California Adventure park until 3 am and an exclusive showing of World of Color and Cars Land

GRADUATION CEREMONY… Graduation is at Lincoln Stadium Monday, June 13, 2016 at 6:00 pm (approximately 2 hours) EVERYONE, including children 3 years or older, must have a ticket to enter Each graduate receives 3 free tickets Extra tickets will be sold for $5 per ticket at the door Parking will be available inside the school for $5 per vehicle Earn 1 extra ticket for each of these events that you attend: 9-1-15: Back to School Night (Senior Parent Assembly at 5 pm) 10-20-15: Student-Led Parent Teacher Conferences (Fall Semester) 4-5-16: Student-Led Parent Teacher Conferences (Spring Semester) 5-24-16: Open House Crowd and fire code regulations are strictly enforced Balloons are not allowed since they obstruct others view

SENIOR CLEARANCE… _________________, 2016 Must Clear All Holds (no debts) ● Detentions, absences, textbooks, library books, etc. Turn in Contract to Counselor Pick up Cap and Gown Three Free Tickets Per Student

SPEAKERS WANTED ( MUST BE ELIGIBLE ) SLC Senior Speaker 1 min to 2 min long Tell us about your experience at Lincoln HS & your involvement in your SLC Should be positive and inspirational Appropriate for your audience Interested applicants should submit their typed, fully prepared speech by April ____ to Ms. Cardoza or Ms. Romero-Flores Applicants must also recite their speech to a selection committee within the next week.

GRADUATE RESPONSIBILITIES… Must continue to exemplify the traditional high standards of academic, social, and behavioral conduct as required by the LHS code of conduct. Must clear all detention hours prior to graduation– check with Dean ’s Office. Attendance, timely arrival and participation in class is required. Failure to do so will result in detention hours. Participation in graduation is a privilege and not a right.
