2. 1. I didn’t have a choice because… 2. It was partly right. 3. I’m going to change soon. 4. God understands because my situation is unique. 5. I deserve this indiscretion because I put up with so much. 6. It’s only a small thing. Other good people do much worse. 7. I meant well… at first. 8. Nobody’s perfect, right? 9. It’s too hard for me because… 10. God forgives, so it’s not a big deal. 11. Is that really a sin?

4.  (1 John 1:7-9) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. {8} If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. {9} If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

6.  I will use this failure to teach others (13).  I will praise God for His grace (14-15).  I will obey God in brokenness (16-19).
