If a customer experiences an outage less often, non delivered energy per outage can be increased: E(Deficiency Probability) = E(Outage Duration) x E(Outage Frequency) E(Non Delivered Energy) = E(Deficiency Probability) x Outage Power 1,000 kWh non delivered energy per outage in the case of 1.0 – 1.5 outages per year 2,000 kWh non delivered energy per outage in the case of 0.5 outages per year 3,000 kWh non delivered energy per outage in the case of 0.1 outages per year 5
