Travel Friday 20th March – leaving school at 9:15am approx. The journey is around 80 minutes. Long walk! Sunday 22 nd March – arriving back at St. John’s at 3:30pm approx A text will be sent to let parents know of any delays

Meals 3 cooked meals each day – see page 10 in the booklet. Snacks in between. Water bottle to be refilled Dobroyd Castle is able to cater for any special dietary requirements.

Money There is a tuck shop in the centre and this will be open on Saturday afternoon. Souvenirs can also be purchased at the centre. £10.00 approx and in loose change

Activities Activities over the weekend will include: Archery Canoeing Climbing & Abseiling Giant Swing Caving Zip Wire Puzzle challenge course

Groups Group leaders are timetabled to be with their activity groups throughout their Robinwood course. This enables them to really get to know every child in their group in order to help each child progress and develop over their time at Robinwood. Group leaders guide their group through around 15 different activity sessions including watersports sessions, themed problem solving sessions, high activities and a range of others. Group leaders get to work with children overcoming different challenges, developing different skills and developing teamwork with others.

Clothing Robinwood provides a selection of additional clothing: Waterproof cagoules Warm tops Footwear for watersport activites

Medication Any medication that your child will require must be given to Mrs Smith before we leave. It must be clearly labelled with the pupils name and the dosage etc. Please could you also make sure that we have written permission from yourselves to allow us to give your child the medicine. If your child has an inhaler they must make sure they are carrying it with them at ALL times. It is advised to pass a spare inhaler to Mrs Smith.

Additional information No mobile phones, I-pods, mp3 player, Cameras or computer games are allowed on this trip. The pupils will not have time to play computer games as there will be a very busy schedule, and their full concentration will be needed at all times. Behaviour of pupils Groupings
