4. APPWORDS EXPLAINED Appwords is one of Mr Appson's advertising systems in which advertisements for apps appear as sponsored links on the search result page. Appwords is an ideal way for app developers, app publishers and others, to market their app and make it stick out from the crowd. In short, the advertiser chooses which appword(s)/keyword(s) that shall trigger the ad to be displayed. The advertiser may choose several appwords/keywords or even complete phrases. When an appword/keyword is typed in the search box, the advertiser’s ad will be displayed on the search result page. On the following pages, we will explain how to set up an appword ad in more detail. 10. In order for your appwords ad to be displayed on the site, you need to have sufficient funds in your appwords account. Funds will be spent when a site visitor clicks on your ad.
