Resurrection was painted in 1475 by Bartalome Bermejo. He painted it in the Renaissance Art Era. INFORMATION ON THE PAINTING

I chose the painting Resurrection because Bartolome did a great illustration of Jesus resurrecting from his casket. In addition, the way that the artist depicted Jesus of being the most important figure really captures my eye. Overall, Bartolome Bermejo did an excellent jon depicting the resurrection of Jesus Christ. WHY I CHOSE THIS PAINTING

I chose the painting Garden of Montmarte for its simplicity. Because the painting is so simple, it really speaks to me. Even though it is simple, one can think of numerous things that could be going on the painting. Overall, the painting in extremely intriguing. WHY I CHOSE THIS PAINTING

Viva La Vida is a still life painting of watermelons. Frida Kahlo painted it in 1954. It was painted in the Pop Art Era that began in the mid 1950’s. INFORMATION ON PAINTING

I chose the painting, Viva la Vida because it is of watermelons. I am a fan of watermelons because they remind me of the summer months, which is my favorite time of the year. Also the painting almost looks like a picture because of the oils that Frida Kahlo used to paint with. Overall, Viva la Vida is a great, colorful painting. WHY I CHOSE THIS PAINTING
