Enter Values Values are numbers entered in a cell that represent a quantity, an amount, a date, or time

Enter Formulas Formulas are the combination of constants, cell references, arithmetic operations, and/or functions displayed in a calculation. Must always start with = Ex. =A2+B2

Glossary Spreadsheet: a grid of rows and columns that allows the user to organize data, recalculate results for cells containing formulas when any data in input cells change, and make decisions based on quantitative data

Glossary Cell reference: the intersection of a column and row designated by a column letter and a row number. For example, the cell at the intersection of column A and row 9 is known as cell A9.
