10 Why is muscular endurance important for badminton? For effective performance you need to be able to repeatedly: move forward to the net and to the back corners of the court reach up to play overhead shots and down to return smashes and drop shots return to base between shots.

11 Why is muscular endurance important for badminton? If your muscles become tired you will move more slowly. This will mean you arrive late to play the shuttle and your returns are not as effective. You will start to make more errors. Your level of performance will drop.
