Key words High Order Goods (Comparison): Goods that people buy less frequently. They tend to be more expensive and people will normally compare quality and price before purchasing e.g. a TV, car or holiday. Low Order Goods (Convenience): Goods that people buy every day. They don't usually cost much money and people would not normally travel far to buy them e.g. bread and milk. Commercial: This is businesses, mainly offices. The main commercial area will normally be in the CBD Residential: This is housing and is where people live. Apartment type housing is found near the CBD and bigger houses towards the suburbs.

Using photographs You cannot allow your project to become a glorified photo album. Instead each image should be carefully chosen, then annotated to describe and explain what it shows and how it relates to your hypotheses.

This point (with reference to its position on the transect) can now be plotted on the base map. Each transect should produce a point and from this it should be possible to roughly delimit the CBD. Reference can be made back to the functional Zone map of Nyon to assist in this task. This point (with reference to its position on the transect) can now be plotted on the base map. Conclusion Accept/reject each hypothesis in turn. Refer to theory. Show the delimit of the CBD.
