4 Taking the Right Advice I. How to Take the Right Advice from others? “Let the men go” (vs. 7) Don’t let the people go (9:7, 12, 35)  Exodus 10:1-7 vs.8-12 – He chose AGAIN to ignore God’s Advice “Let My people go” (vs. 3)

How to Take the Right Advice from others?  Exodus 10:1-7 The Advice of Pharaoh’s servants (Exodus 10:7) a) “How long will this man be a snare to us?”  Pharaoh’s 8 th time at this intersection!  7 plagues already came on Egypt b) “Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God.”  Command (servants to Pharaoh)  The solution to all the plagues of Egypt  ‘OBEY GOD!’ c) “Do you not realize that Egypt is destroyed?”  They tell Pharaoh WHY he needs to obey God  ‘Look Around!’

An intersection for us  Acts 22:16 God’s Advice a) “And now why are you waiting?”  How many times have you been at this intersection before?  How long will God’s word be a snare to you? b) “Arise and be baptized,”  Command (God to us)  More to plan of salvation than just this command Hear (Rom 10:17), Believe (Jn. 3:16), Repent (Acts 2:38), Confess (Matt. 10:32), Be Baptized (Acts 22:16), Live Faithfully (Rev. 2:10) c) “and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”  God tells us WHY we need to obey Him  Do you not realize that your sins will destroy you? (Rom. 6:23)
