My Objectives I can describe the characteristics of an insect using adjectives. I can distinguish between insects and spiders using a Venn diagram. I understand how they interact with each other and their environment

KWL We are going to fill out a KWL chart. This chart will show you what you Know, what you Want to know, and what you Learned about insects. Remember to raise your hand to participate.

Activity We are going to work in groups of three to five students. When working in your group you must be respectful and listen to each other. I will model what you will do in you group. I need three volunteers to be in my group. You will have a bag. Each person will describe the pieces received. Once everyone has had a chance to share you will work with your group to sort them. Now watch me.
