The Plan Form small groups based on geography and shared interests and/or stage of life Groups will meet for 6-weeks initially using starter study (Connecting with God’s Family) You’ll decide if & in what way you’d like to continue after the 6-week study

EXERCISE #1 Introduce yourself. Tell where you were born and how you ended up in the area. What are your favorite hobbies or interests? How did you start coming to our church, and what do you love about it?

EXERCISE #2 Introduce yourself to the people of the group you’re merging with & share 1 thing you just learned about another person. Briefly share about your primary church / ministry involvement & SG experience (esp if you’ve ever led a group in the past). What is one thing you hope to gain by being in a small group?

APPOINTING YOUR GROUP FACILITATOR The group facilitator will be the primary coordinator of your meetings over the next six weeks. He or she will take responsibility for facilitating the initial session(s) and encourage others in the group to facilitate subsequent sessions.

ORGANIZING GROUP MEETING LOGISTICS WHEN can everybody meet together? WHERE will your first meeting be? (Meeting in homes is preferable.) FILL OUT a “OUR FIRST GET- TOGETHER” card for yourself INCLUDE YOUR INFO on the “MY NEW SMALL GROUP CONTACT LIST”
