6. His reaction? Cut back on his generosity? “The Lord gave me everything I have,” he explained to a friend. “It all belongs to Him, and if He wants to take it away that’s His business. I don’t lose any sleep. I still have a wonderful family. I will do anything God wants me to do. If He takes away everything He has entrusted to me and calls me to the mission field, I’m ready to go. All He needs to do is open the door.” He not only didn’t cut back, he JOYFULLY increased it!

10. What does giving generously do for us?

11. Sets us free! Things that hinder generosity: Selfishness (lack of love) Fear (afraid to give) Lack of trust

12. Gives us a great sense of peace and gratification Matthew 6:28-34 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith?
