What is Biographical criticism?
Biographical criticism is a form of Literary criticism which analyzes a writer's biography to show the relationship between the author's life and their works of literature. This longstanding critical method dates back at least to the Renaissance period

Weakness 1: Equating the work's content with the author's life; they are not necessarily the same.

Weakness 2: Less-than-credible sources of information, particularly works that tend to be highly speculative or controversial unless verified by several sources.
