2. HERITAGE BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP 10- $500 scholarships to deserving senior athletes. To apply for this scholarship, athletes are asked to submit a cover letter, résumé and the Scholarship Applicant form that confirms their GPA and HHSABC membership, and lists their references. Scholarship Applicant Our scholarship applicants should reflect a well-rounded student athlete whose contributions to HHS have made a real difference. The scholarship committee will use the following criteria to make their selection. In your résumé and cover letter, please highlight the following areas: Varsity Letter(s) School Awards Demonstrates Good Sportsmanship GPA of 2.5 or above Good Citizen in Community Demonstrates Leadership both in Sport and in School Furthering Education Current HHSABC Member Why this scholarship is important to you All nominees will be asked to submit all parts of the application to Mr. Petrella. These applications will then be forwarded to the HHSABC committee for review and selection. Announcement of the scholarship winners will take place at the Heritage Athletic Booster Club Tailgate Party.

3. Six-$1,100 scholarships will be awarded for the 2009-2010 school year. There will be one recipient for each campus. Scholarship Opportunity Virginia Smiles will award a $1,000 scholarship to a student who meets the following criteria: The student must be a resident of Virginia and born with a cleft; The student must be registered to attend an accredited post- secondary educational institution; The student must submit a completed application form.
