I CLUB central Don’t fear the online © 2002, ICLUBcentral, Inc., all rights reserved Common concerns about NAIC Online Club Accounting www.naic-club.com www.iclub.com

Audience Poll A show of hands, please … – How many here are Club Treasurers? – All the rest are active club members! – How many of your clubs rotate the Treasurer’s job among the members?

Why use NOCA? Everyone has access to reports at all times You can share messages, files (documents, ssg’s, pictures, etc.) with club members There’s a common club calendar and online voting It’s a great way to train a co-treasurer All you need is a browser (it’s Mac- compatible)

Going online: Don’t be afraid! Will I have to reenter all my transactions to go on NOCA? Is my social security number safe? Can I do taxes with NOCA? What about privacy? Can I still use NCA 2? Where is my data?

Will I have to reenter my transactions to use NAIC Online Club Accounting? No! You can import them in less than one minute from NCA 1.04 or NCA 2. NOCA NCA (your computer)

Importing is easy (it was built for humans) Step #1: Export your data from desktop accounting Step #2: Find the export file by ‘browsing’ to it on the NOCA import page. Step #3: Click on ‘import’

Part One: Is my social security number safe? Yes. We have a very secure web site and a protected database server.

Part Two: Is my social security number safe? Yes. You can use a separate specially encrypted secure server if you want.

Part Three: Is my social security number safe? We also provide a simple option to NOT put social security numbers online.

But what about taxes?!? There’s a tax printer available for NOCA. You can also use the desktop tax printer… even if you use NOCA!

But what about taxes?!? And you can write the SSN numbers on the tax forms themselves. (That may take as long as ten whole minutes.)

What about privacy? You control who sees your profile You control who sees message boards You control who controls the accounting You can invite and remove visitors

What about privacy?

Can I still use desktop accounting? Yes. You can do your accounting on the desktop and import it to NOCA. You can also do your accounting on NOCA and export it to NCA 2.

Can I still use desktop accounting? This is perfect for co-treasurers. Here’s one scenario: –Club accounting for your club is done on the treasurer’s computer –Every month, the accounting is loaded onto NOCA –The co-treasurer checks the accounting on NOCA
