You might keep in mind the student’s learning styles when creating this environment. Different rooms in the home may be used to reflect different subjects. The rooms should be well lighted and comfortable. The kitchen area is a good area for math and science. The learning environment can also be created outside of the home: trips to grocery store, doctor’s or dentist office, mensium or, visiting family members and the like.

4 Learning Environment Now you want to create your learning environment. Here are some suggestions: The learning environment should be well lighted in an open area in the home. You may choose and decorate different rooms in the home to reflect the different subjects. Planned trips outside of the home can also become the learning environment. This will include the time of day the subject will be taught. Sample daily Schedule. Notice your curriculum, there are four subjects with a bunch of topics under them. Right now you will only be concerned with the subjects. (Note: suggestion if your student is more alert in the morning, schedule the harder classes in the morning. If the student is a more alert later in the day, schedule the harder classes for that time.Sample daily Schedule

( The student’s learning style should determine what resource s you will use and the teaching method ). The Lesson Plan is the key to the presentation. Sample lesson plan.lesson plan. The lesson plan consist of the following: Subject – What subject are you going to teach? Example: Mathematics - Geometry Unit/Topic - Basic of Geometry that you will be discussing in this tipic.

Assignment: This tells the student what he/she is suppose to study and what activity should be completed. ( quiz, worksheet, project, etc.) Review: Always start the day with a review of the previous day’s activities.

Also listed here under performance objectives, are things that student will be able to apply or do, once understanding the information.

Resources: This will name the texts and other resources and reference materials you will use for this topic/unit/assignment. Procedure: This the details of how you are going to present the information to the student. It should include the length of time it would take to present the material.

Evaluation/Assessment: This is test time. The test can be administered at the end of each lesson, orally, written, or electronically.
