Functions of the Quality Management Branch Consulting with policy staff on standards. Quality Assurance (QA) monitoring of contractors. Quality Improvement (QI) activities to develop infrastructure.

Quality Assurance Monitoring Includes all Family and Community Health Services. On-site review every 2-3 years. Nurse, Nutritionist, WIC Fiscal Monitor. Determines the length of the visit.

Quality Improvement Activities Assist with identification of areas for improvement. Assist with resource identification. Consistent follow-up to reinforce progress.
