You need a plan and a GOOD planning process. First step is to make sure you have a good design and a set of well-defined blueprints

The “blueprints” have already been created for you. Define Define a site’s goals & target audience. Design Design the site – How does the information flow? Produce Produce the site – code it Test Test the site. Publish Publish the site.

Keep all of the files you are using together in one organized place! go to C:/Desktop and create a folder Name the new folder web-dev. file names, you should be sure that all filenames are in lower case and contain no spaces or strange punctuation marks.
