8. Current costs Costs this year have been reduced significantly. Typical VM costs per year $50 per CPU $25 per GB RAM $2 per GB SAS disk (fast) $1 per GB SATA disk (not as fast) Add $1 per GB for backup

9. Typical machine cost 1CPU, 4GB Ram, 40GB fast OS disk, 60GB Slow data disk with 1 network IP with backup 1x$50=50 4x$25=100 40x$2=80 60x$1=60 100x$1=100 Total cost=$390 per year
