11 The Albert Schweitzer Building-to-Destroying Ratio The Albert Schweitzer Building-to-Destroying Ratio If, we build toward Albert Schweitzer’s Ethical Civilization (February 1923*); And, we integrate it into Earth’s society by 2023; Then the Building-to-Destroying ratio will sustain human destiny on Earth and in space in perpetuity. Albert Schweitzer created his “Philosophy of Civilization” for the restoration and progress of civilization while serving humanity in Africa. The work was first published in 1923.
