15. What we have learned….  “I was not aware of budburst before.”  Data showed differences in 2002 and 2007  Maple budburst was delayed in 2007  The two tree species had different patterns  Different species respond differently to the environment

16. What we learned…  Flower buds respond differently than leaf buds.  Cold temperatures delayed the Crab Apple but did not seem to change the Maple.
